2008 Feb 29 Leap Year

the weather is not as nice today. its still foggy eventhough its now noon.

this morning, WK was happily "cooking". he said he put in pepper, water and meat into the pan. then he mixed them all up by stirring. after that he add more pepper and water to cook the meat. finally he finish cooking his meat dish.

we did an hour of homework and then we help mummy with making the bowling pins from old yoghurt bottles. we dont have enough bowling pins yet to play bowling.

WK is drumming on the upside down pail while WW is using the bowling pins as maracas.

Got more bowling pins out so we are now having 2 bowling pins each to shake.

WW & WK forgot where they put their ball. They clean up their toys but the ball is still missing. probably will appear later.

WW is playing the vtech bob the builder game. he can remember the sequence of the alphabet. WK is watching WW playing while resting his head for a nap.

2008 Feb 28

We went to the library for storytime. we went to the chinese bakery to choose our buns for tea break. we chose a chocolate bun each. we ate half our buns on the walk to the library.

storytime theme was puppies today. we sang about this dog called pongo. colored a picture of Spot the dog.

then we went out to jump and run at courtyard outside the library.

WK slept from the library to auntie's home. he woke up just in time to climb the stairs to auntie's home. we played with D and watch D crawled backwards. D watched us eating our sandwiches while he had his own food.

WW wanted to go to the Whole Foods with the elevator. He wanted to climb up and down the stairs. we usually take the elevator as we have our stroller so WW & WK dont get to climb stairs often. We have a great time eating samples and getting our orange juice.

2008 Feb 27

We went late to the park today so that we can play til daddy finish work. we reach the park at 4.30pm and played til 6.30pm. the sand elephants, sand bunnies and sand fishes look much better today. daddy says that we have to practise.

WK's shovel was grabbed by a toddler. WK went to the toddler and said" can I have it back". the toddler did not understand and WK stared very hard into the toddler's face. finally the toddler's mother finished talking and returned the shovel back to WK.

2008 Feb 26

very sunny weather today. we finally get to go to the park to play sand. there were lots of kids at the park when we reached there. WW and WK played with their dump trucks, pouring sand into the trucks and dumping 2m awat to make a sandhill. Later they use their sand molds to make sand elephants and sand bunnies. after 2 1/2 hrs of playing, they were finally willing to leave the playground and go to the supermarket.

we played chutes and ladders for the 2nd time after dinner. its great that they get to play a board game with their daddy
